I hope と I wish   の違い

I hope he is single.

彼が独身だったらいいのに。（期待）

※独身かどうかはまだわからない。

I wish he was single.

彼が独身だったらいいのにな。（残念）

※独身でないことはすでにわかっている。

I wish は実際ではない話

I wish I lived in Hawaii.

ハワイに住んでいたらあ。（普段）

I wish it wasn't rainning.

雨が降っていなかったらなあ（今）

I wish　(未来）

I wish I  wasn't working tomorrow.

明日、仕事じゃなかったらいいのにな。

I wish he would quit smoking.

彼がタバコやめてくれたらなあ。

※現在は違うけど将来的にそうなればいいのに、という願望

I wish　（過去）

I wish I had gone.

行けばよかったな。

I wish it hadn't been rained.

雨が降らなければよかったな。

wouldの使い方

I will go if I have time.　現在形

時間があったら行くよ。（行く可能性あり）

I would go if I had time.

時間があったらいくんだけどな。（行く可能性無し）

I will marry you, if you are single.

あなたが独身なら結婚しようよ。

I would marry you if you were single.

たが独身だったら結婚するのになあ。（結婚する可能性無し）

I'm not going to go because I'm busy.

忙しいので行かないよ。

I would go but I'm busy.

私は行きますが忙しいです。

I would go if I wasn't busy.

忙しくなかったら行くのになあ。（行かない）

would (未来）

I would go if I wasn't working tomorrow.

明日仕事じゃなかったら行くのになあ。

I would go if you were going.

君が行くなら私も行くのになあ。

※未来のｗouldの場合、if 以下は過去進行形が多い。

would (過去）

I would've gone if I had known.

知ってたら行ったのに。

I would be rich if I had saved money.

貯金していたら金持ちだったのに。

※受身形を使わず　get ～、get　～ed　で表すことが多いですね。

take 人 out        人を遊びに連れて行く
